To correct the feeding issue, add more paper to the paper tray. If the paper feed does not improve, check the following steps. Step 1. Check your paper. Refer to "User's Guide" in the Manuals section for information on acceptable glossy paper for your Brother machine. To get the best print quality, we suggest using Brother Premium Glossy Paper.
Pull the paper tray completely out of the machine. If the paper support flap (1) is open, close it, and then close the paper support (2). Follow the steps below to print on both sides of a page using a Windows computer: From the menu bar of an application, click File and then Print. Choose your printer name and cick the Properties. Choose the Basic tab. Choose 2-sided (Manual). Click 2-sided Settings. Configure 2-sided Type and Binding Offset. And then click OK.
Do one of the following: If all lines are clear and visible, choose Yes to finish the Print Quality check and go to STEP 13. If you can see missing short lines as shown below, choose No and go to STEP 8. The LCD asks you if the print quality is OK for black and the three colors.
